Trained at the École supérieure des arts décoratifs, Laëtitia earned a dual master’s degree in visual arts and art history at the Université Marc Bloch in Strasbourg. After several years of teaching, she chose to focus on bringing her artistic practice into the spotlight.
Her work, often featuring powerful and sensuous female figures, seeks to evoke feelings of joy, melancholy and inner peace. These figures, dictated by the artist’s subconscious and intuition, are depicted with minimal color palettes to emphasize their emotional depth.
Laëtitia has always been captivated by the harmony found in spaces, the beauty of a painting, the delicacy of objects, the balance in architecture or the peaceful presence of sunlight in a landscape. For her, the elegance of what is visually pleasing and the joy of simply observing these things are deeply connected.
As an art historian,Laëtitia is influenced by the minimalist approach of Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Jean Cocteau. Antique figures from childhood memories in Italy also inspire her imagination and are reinterpreted in her works. Using her unique form and color techniques, she creates a sensitive, poetic world with each work, reflecting Laëtitia’s memories and feelings while exploring human relationships.
